Early land transfer to Copacabana Sanctuary where you will board the Catamaran Cruise Ship and enjoy the view while sailing to Sun Island, the legendary birthplace of the Inca Empire. Visit the Inca Garden, Steps and Fountain, and then the Inti Wata Cultural Complex, which is the main private tourist attraction of Bolivia. The Complex includes the Ekako Underground Museum, the center for traditional medicine and the center for Titikaka Reed Shipbuilders. You will also see the Pachamama agricultural Inca terraces, a handicraft center, the Intica lounge, and the largest variety of Andean cameloids at the “Manco Kapac” observatory. The Inti Wata Complex on Sun Island includes a unique sailing experience aboard a huge Titikaka traditional vessel and the opportunity to see the Pilkokaina Inca Palace.
Catamaran Cruise to Sun Island’s isolated Challapampa Village, situated north of the island, for a half day of participative tourism. Visitors have the opportunity to interact with one of the most unspoiled indigenous Titikaka villages through an innovative program organized with the local community sharing rituals, ceremonies and folkloric demonstrations. Visit to their own museum, houses, chapel and school. You will also sail in typical vessels to an Inca holy temple, walk through Inca trails, and receive welcome gifts designed by the villagers. Romantic candle light dinner and overnight on board the Catamaran in lake view cabins with private facilities.
